Empowering children to achieve their greatest potential
through advancements in neuroscience.

Dr. Jacquelyn Gamino, a cognitive neuroscientist from the University of Texas, has dedicated her life to translating cutting-edge research into practical applications that dramatically improve children’s cognitive capacity.

She has numerous evidence-based publications and more than 20 years of research experience, from which Strategic Memory Advanced Reasoning Training (SMART), a novel brain training program, was born. SMART develops often overlooked higher-order executive function skills in middle and high school students, during their most critical years of brain development.

Jacquelyn has trained hundreds of teachers to implement the SMART program, reaching over 80,000 students across five states in the past 15 years. Her data reveal that students of all socioeconomic statuses benefit from the SMART intervention. The driving force behind her work is to a foster a future in which educational parity is a fundamental tenant of social justice.

As John F. Kennedy said, in 1963, children are the world’s most valuable resource and its best hope for the future.”

We must empower children to reach their highest possible potential in the classroom and beyond, in order to impart lifelong positive economic and social change.

“...education is a natural process spontaneously carried out by the human individual,
and is acquired not by listening to words
but by experiences upon the environment.”
